Relaying Hope: Cathy's Story.
Why I relay I first got involved with Realy For Life Wexford in 2018 not knowing what it was about or what to expect. All I can say Is wow. It is so magical to be there to experience every emotion in one day, from laughing while doing laps to crying during the candle of hope ceremony which is so magical in itself.
For me relay is not just about raising funds but also to celebrate, surviving and fighting back for all those who are going through, gone through or lost their battle with cancer. In March of this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer so for me relay this year will be a whole new experience. I will be there on the day wearing my purple t-shirt with my whole family beside me showing cancer that it won't beat us. As my oldest boys likes to say together we will kick cancers ass
