Relay For Life Wexford recognized by Global Relay for Life!
While we, as a committee, do a lot of hard work we simply could not/would not have the Event that we have without the fabulous community support we receive not only from our Relayers but also from so many local businesses who do what they can for us. Since our first year back in 2016, the community got behind us and year on year built Relay to what it is today...a fantastic Community Event that brings the whole community right across County Wexford together in the fight against cancer!
As you will know, our main focus is not on the amount of money raised but on this occasion I can't help but mention that Relay for Life Wexford is the only Relay in 31 COUNTRIES (not a typo COUNTRIES NOT COUNTIES) who actually exceeded the amount raised last year...no mean feat for a Virtual Event so thank you to all our brilliant fundraisers
A big shout out to our hardworking committee who give so much and a massive well done to you the people of Wexford who, even in these strange times of Covid-19, rallied to show your support to those affected by this horrible disease.
