As Relay For Life Wexford prepares to host its highly anticipated 2024 event, survivors are poised to take centre stage once again. The event, renowned for its celebration of resilience and unity, invites survivors to register and play an integral role in this year's gathering.
Survivor registration for Relay For Life Wexford 2024 is now open, extending a warm welcome to all who have heard the words "you've got cancer" regardless of when their journey began. By registering, survivors not only honour their personal journey but also contribute to a collective beacon of hope that radiates throughout the community.
"At Relay For Life Wexford, survivors are the backbone of our event," said Julie Jackson Chairperson at Relay For Life Wexford. "Their presence serves as a testament to the unconquerable strength of the human spirit”. We are thrilled to introduce our Survivor chairs for 2024, Jennifer O'Connor & Aaron Morris, who will ensure our survivors are cherished and empowered throughout the event.
Relay For Life Wexford fosters an environment where stories of triumph resonate, and hope shines brightly with every step forward. Survivor registration marks the commencement of this transformative journey, uniting individuals who have walked similar paths. Together, they weave a tapestry of inspiration, resilience, and unwavering determination. The survivor's lunch provides a wonderful opportunity for attendees to connect and support one another, fostering a sense of camaraderie that is invaluable on the journey to healing.
We really couldn’t do this without the continued support of Pettitts Supervalu St. Aidans. They are instrumental in ensuring that survivors receive the quality experience they deserve at Relay For Life Wexford. Their contributions, including lunch from Pettitts Kitchen on the day of the event, make a significant difference, we genuinely couldn’t do it without them!
Volunteers are essential to the success of Relay For Life Wexford, and individuals are encouraged to lend a helping hand in various capacities.
