We were lucky enough to benefit from the Irish Cancer Society's Nurses for Night Time for our mother when she was her last days at home. This is an amazing service for families, allowing them relief from the bedside vigil, safe in the knowledge there was some one with their loved one, someone qualified and caring. They were able to call us when the time came. They were so experienced - they knew the time had come, within 15 minutes. I could not be more grateful for this service.
