Fundraising Cycleton with Blackwater and Wexford Wheelers and DJ Ger Ard in the House

We had a fantastic day on Saturday when, despite the rain, the people of Wexford yet again supported us and helped us raise just over 2500! Huge thanks go to Blackwater and Wexford Wheelers Cycling Clubs who broke their goal of 500km in 5 hours, to the main man of the day - Ger Ard Mc Donald who kept spirits high with great tunes and great shout outs. Many thanks to the team and their families for shaking buckets and (literally) dancing in the rain. We were delighted with the support given by our local community. Many thanks to everyone.

We’re fundraising for a great cause

None of us are unaffected by cancer. We are walking to salute those with cancer, and to remember those we have lost to cancer.

The Irish Cancer Society will use the money raised to provide vital support services for people living with cancer, their families and carers. This much-needed help includes night nurses, driver services, freephone nurseline, counselling sessions, financial support grants, Travel2Care transportation & much more, all in our local area.
