This year's event will be held on the Curragh Racecourse on the 6th July from 1pm for 24 hours, where family and friends of all those that we have lost over the years will come together to remember our loved ones.  

Team Donna's Army are taking part in Relay for Life for the second year in memory of Donna.  For us, Donna was a huge part of our lives, my little sister but also a wife, a mother, a daughter and truly a great friend to many and so we will all gather together on July 6th in the Curragh racecourse, a place that was very dear to Donna's heart as she was a huge fan of the Irish Derby, and we will remember and honour Donna and keep our precious memories of her strong in our hearts. 

The candle of hope ceremony is a very poignant part of the evening when at approx. 10 pm, just as dusk falls, all the candle of hope bags are lit and the silent crowd remember their loved ones.  Candle of hope bags can be purchased from any of our team but also on the day of the event and will be included in the ceremony.

Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer in Kildare. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.
