Easter Bake Sale

Thursday 4th Apr Shells Belles Easter Bake Sale Posted by Siobhan, Thursday 4th On the Thursday the 28th of April our team held a bake sale in the staff canteen in Wexford General Hospital. Thanks to all the amazing staff of the hospital, we were able to raise €710 and every penny has been donated to the Irish cancer society. We cannot thank Rachel from Sweet Dreams cafe in Wexford town for donating all of her own homemade delicious treats to sell on the day and to all team members who kindly donated their home baking to this event. Thank you to The Talbot Hotel and Joyce’s Wexford for donating the top prizes for our raffle held on the day. Congratulations Ann from catering, Bernie from patients accounts and Peggy from the day unit for winning the top prizes in the raffle. Finally thanks to all team members who donated their time last Wednesday to bake and who those who then also gave up their day to participate in the cake sale. We are thankful to Debbie from Relay for Life Committee for her guidance. All of the money raised will help support those fighting against this awful disease in their daily life and their families. It will ensure that the vital research continues to hopefully one day we might live in a world where cancer does not win the fight instead we will 💜💜 💜 Share
