My Relay for Life event

I’m raising funds to support cancer patients and their families across Ireland. You can show your support too, by making a donation to my page today.

This year I'm taking part in the UCD event at UCD Athletics Track, UCD Belfield Campus. An amazing community event that will take place over 24 hours.

I’m fundraising for a great cause

Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.

Your help today, will help to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families, together we can ensure that no-one has to go through their cancer journey alone.

New Goal Unlocked 🔓

Monday 31st Mar
People all over Ireland today celebrated the mother figure in their lives. However, it can be a very difficult day for people who have lost their own mothers, grandmothers, sisters. Mothers who have lost their children. Mothers who have had to take on the role of mam and dad.
Cancer unfortunately has been at the root of many of their heartbreaks.

This weekend, we have almost doubled our original goal to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society. And UCD Relay as a whole has raised 25k already with T-2 days to go.

It is both heartbreaking and heartwarming that so many people have wanted to donate and help the cause.

When there is so much pain, it is just incredible to be reminded of the generosity and hopefulness of the community. We look forward to taking part because it is more than just a mad 24hrs on a college athletics track.

Team is rearing to go

Tuesday 25th Mar
With a week to go, I have rallied and roped everyone I know into joining this Relay team.

Cancer is such an inescapable tragedy. It has touched the lives of everyone in some capacity.
Relay For Life allows us to come together to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and stand shoulder to shoulder with those facing cancer.

It has something to offer everyone which is why it did not take much convincing even usually flat-to-the-mat college students who rarely have time for a proper breakfast.

It’s a credit to the work of Irish Cancer Society and the cause.

Why am I running in aid of the Irish Cancer Society?

Tuesday 25th Feb
I am running in memory of my grandmother Peggy. Also for the many women very close to me in my life who have fought and who are still fighting against cancer.

Thank you to my Sponsors
